"This is a wonderful little hotel in Kranjska Gora. My wife and I were traveling through Slovenia on vacation/holiday and looking to stay in the general area of Bled but avoid the crowds and potentially higher expense. This was a great find. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. They provided abundant information and suggestions about the area. They gave us a room that was comfortable and had a good view. The breakfast was excellent - a broad buffet selection with additional kitchen-cooked items (eggs, etc.). It was delicious and very filling and satisfying. The hotel was quiet, clean and well-maintained. It appeared that ski season ended one or two weeks prior and the hotel was not crowded. We struck up friendly conversations with other guests and got additional perspectives for touring. As we were leaving to head south, we got the heads-up from the proprietors that the mountain pass that we intended to travel was closed because of a recent snowstorm. They gave us alternate suggestions plus a map with good directions. They went above and beyond. We HIGHLY recommend Garni Hotel Miklic. We REALLY enjoyed our stay. "The hotel is the perfect central location for the city and everything is within walking distance. Wonderful front desk staff who managed to answer all my questions! I loved the rooms and the view from the room and the amazingly soft bed. Nice glass shower with good pressure too. The breakfast buffet area has an amazing view -- it is so cool to see all the snow capped Alps around you. The buffet was very good, with super alpine ham too!"
