"This place was a gem! The vibes were tropical, the staff was superb. The breakfast came in clutch so we didn't have think about where to eat as soon as we'd wake up. The pool was clean and enjoyable. I love how outside each room they had a little outdoor semiprivate porch like space. The location was also super convenient right across a supermarket that had virtually everything you would need. We were also walking distance to a great brunch place called greens and a Syrian restaurant on the other side. The only comment might be the AC was not functioning as good as one would expect. This was when we initially came in the room. However we did notice it improved over the course of our trip. Ultimately though a fan would have been helpful. The staff was excellent though. Very receptive to our feedback and even went the extra mile to make our stay amazing!!! 10/10 would highly recommend"

"This was a convenient and comfortable choice for our one-night stopover as we were heading to Koh Lipe. A standout was the breakfast, which offered a really good variety. Our room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated the helpful and friendly staff. For travellers needing a comfortable layover in Langkawi, especially those with early departures, this property is a solid option. It even seems like it could be a good pick for a few days as they have a pool and there are a few dining options around that might be worth it to explore."

"The hotel is a short walk to Chenang Beach and numerous shops and restaurants. It’s close enough for the convenience, but far enough away from the tourist traffic to offer a quiet, peaceful stay. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the Rice Garden restaurant offers good dining choices for dinner and snacks. The rooms are spacious and well designed and the shower and bathroom area are pleasantly modern. The hotel is very family friendly and we felt well taken care of by the kind and helpful staff. We would definitely stay at the Mercure if we visit Langkawi again."

"Lovely & peaceful hotel very close to Langkawi airport. The swimming pool overlooking the beach is magical especially at sunset. Buffet breakfast was very good. The only negative is the sea water, it looks dirty, very uninviting. "
