"The property is great for short one or two day stays; not so much for extended stays. That’s one of the reasons for the four-star rating. There was little storage space to unpack and store your clothes so we had to live out of our suitcases for our five night stay. The in-room refrigerator was also beyond small. Anything more than a few bottles of water and the door wouldn’t close. Again, for a short one or two night stay this is fine, but for extended stays it was a bit of an annoyance. The other reason for the four-star rating was the off-site parking. What a nightmare. The two available public parking lots were about a quarter of a mile away from the hotel. Good luck finding a parking space between 5pm-11pm on a Friday or Saturday night in either lot. We checked in on a Saturday around 6:30pm and literally sat inside one of the parking lots for almost an hour waiting for someone to leave to get a spot. The parking lot attendant told us that it’s like that every Friday and Saturday. You have to come early and not leave, or come after 11pm to find a spot. Finding a parking space for the remainder of our stay was uneventful, but that first night on Saturday was a nightmare especially after traveling all day. Parking along the street (if you can find an open spot) overnight is not an option, so the public parking lots are your only option when staying at the Jaslin. We would stay there again for a shorter stay, and not on a weekend to avoid the parking lot gridlock."
