"This cottage is absolutely precious! From the morning and evening deer sightings in the yard to the cleanliness and comfort of the interior, beds, and lounging/ den area it was nearly perfect. Hostess Carri has thought of everything to make this a delightful stay for anyone wanting to visit the area and to attend New River Gorge. AND it is pet-friendly! The trailhead to our chosen hiking trail was nearly within walking distance! Should we ever revisit the area we will most definitely return to...

"I have to say, this was one of the most well-stocked, and cleanest VRBOs we’ve been in. It is an older home, but I don’t think there was one speck of dirt to be seen anywhere! And there was soap, extra tp, bikes, hammocks, more than enough towels, plenty of everything for anything you might need in a pinch! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and it was so nice to have the hot tub to relax in after a full day of hiking and exploring. If we were to return to new river gorge, we would stay...

Adventures on the Gorge

10/10 Excellent

"Close to hiking and bridge. Park well maintained"

Quality Inn New River

10/10 Excellent

"Property was very nice. Very close to the new river gorge bridge & lots of great hiking trails. Breakfast was very nice and we ate dinner one night at the restaurant there and it was good. Lots of locals there. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Staff were great to talk with about the area. We would stay there again"

Hampton Inn Summersville

8/10 Good

"This was the second Hampton Inn I stayed in during my recent trip. Both places, including this one and the one in Hendersonville NC had dogs that were barking near my room. For this hotel I told the staff and they paid a visit or called since the barking stopped. I don't agree with the pet friendly policy, I'm allergic to dogs and cats and the last thing I want to hear is barking while on vacation. Otherwise it was a very nice stay but not sure I will stay at any more Hamptons."

Lansing Orchard · Sleeps 29, 8300 sq ft house, 6 acres, stocked pond

8/10 Good

"Beautiful home and property. Adequate sleeping space and full bathrooms. Kitchen oven small for house size and temperature set at centigrade. Two large refrigerators with freezer space. Ice maker dispenser did not work. Toaster oven did not work, no other toaster. Not all baking sheet pans fit in oven. Courtesy lamp for front walkway did not work despite change of bulbs by host (who responded immediately)"

MillCreekCabins,Secluded,Luxury Cabins. 1163 Milroy Grose Rd Lansing WV 25862.

8/10 Good

"Great cabin. Very clean. There was a problem with the hot water/pressure in shower only, but it was Bridge Day weekend, so options were slim. When the owners get that corrected, it will be perfect for next renters."
