"The first room we were given at a broken toilet paper holder. And we did not have a sunset view nor did we have a king-size bed as was booked. So after we had unpacked and realized this, we were given another room. Of course it was an upgrade and had to pay $20 extra night for it, which I believe should’ve been comped. to our dismay after unpacking the second time there was only one night table in the bedroom. I called the concierge and he sent up the maintenance person who said that after the hotel was renovated, this is how they decorated the room. However, the first room that we were in had two night tables. He said he would speak to his boss but no one ever got back to me as to what they were going to do about it so I had to take a chair from the table in the living area and make my own night table. In addition there was stool on the toilet that was not cleaned for two days when. I complained to the manager she comped me for one night. I didn’t want to argue with her but I was thinking that we should have been also comped the $20 extra/ night for the upgrade. I’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times before and never had any problems."
