The hotel is, as always, an excellent place to stay. I make it a point to stay here every time I come home. The food is great, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and the oceanfront is the best in the city. I always enjoy my stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

This is well-maintained resort property. Service was mediocre, at best. Concierge understaffed, front desk & restaurants all understaffed. Breakfast was chaotic several days in a row. Hotel was full of mostly domestic tourists -- local corporate groups on retreat + large local families. We had expected more of a Shangri-La experience, & had just traveled from a Shangri-La property which had impeccable & genuinely helpful customer service, plus a convenient location. This Cebu property is clean & well-appointed with on-property things to do, but this place is not geared towards international travelers, and not conveniently located

Our stay at Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and relaxing atmosphere. The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service. Every staff member we met was warm, attentive, and professional. They were particularly patient and welcoming with my very talkative son, which meant a great deal to me and made our experience even more memorable. I would gladly recommend this resort to families and anyone traveling to Cebu. We hope to stay here again in the future.
