"This is the most interesting location we have stayed due to the age of the home and amount of property. It was like stepping back in time with modern amenities. We used this as our home base to visit Stirling, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. It worked out well. If looking to get away from the business and noise of the city, it would be a good spot to relax and enjoy the property."

"Fantastic cottage, well equipped with very comfy large sofa and beds with quality bedding. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive to any queries/requests. Excellent set up and plenty space for family get togethers. Location was perfect too. Almost 20-30 mins away from most places of interest in the area. "A beautiful cottage with everything we needed for our holiday. The owner had some lovely little extra touches which made it feel so special. A welcome pack of fresh bread, butter, milk, shortbread, fruit and chocolates were very much appreciated. There were also little cases of flowers throughout which was really lovely. "After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues"

"Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips."
