Traditional Canarian house with private pool in Vegas Valsequillo

"The house and the outdoor surroundings is lovely. There is air conditioning in all the bedrooms, if that’s your preference. There is often a breeze, so the house stays at a comfortable temperature when the windows and doors are open. If it feels a bit warm, you can jump into the pool. We were there in July and didn't need it heated at all. It was fantastic.We did quite a bit of cooking ourselves and would have liked an extra bowl, perhaps, but all in all, we had what we needed. Everything was very clean.The house is located in a small town up on the mountain. The view of the mountains is breathtaking. It is very quiet and peaceful. The best restaurant (La Culata ll) is right across the road.There are supermarkets in the neighboring towns—one is a 10-minute drive away, and a large supermarket is 20 minutes away. We are a family of four—two adults and two children aged 12 and 16. We stayed for 14 days and drove all around the island. We drove to the beaches, but also explored everything else Gran Canaria has to offer. If you are looking for something more than just a beach holiday, we can highly recommend this location; it is centrally situated for everything.It was very easy to communicate with the hostess, Elena, via WhatsApp.The only slightly annoying thing was the family of pigeons that had built a nest in the beautiful palm tree in the courtyard. They are messy creatures.So, there wasn't much to complain about. We’ve had an absolutely fantastic holiday."

"L'endroit est vraiment sympa.La piscine est vraiment spacieuse et agréable.Le pool bar bien équiper avec tout ce qu'il faut ainsi que la maison.Un peu plus d'informations concernant le fonctionnement de la pompe piscine et le robot aura été un plus.Dans l'ensemble, je recommande cet bel endroit.La seule chose qui m'a déranger un peu, c'est que dans certains commentaires des personnes annonce que c'est très calme. Personnellement, je ne trouve pas que c'est très calme puisque la maison se trouve en surplomb d'une route juste en dessous avec de nombreux passages de camions et de voitures.A noter, que le soir, presque plus personne ne passe et devient calme.La nuit, cela nous a donc pas empêché de dormir fenêtre ouverte"

"Location was perfect for the mountains, we were cycling and running and access to routes were perfect. Fataga is quaint, with just enough going on. Our accommodation was everything we needed from washing machine to kitchen... Our hosts could not have don enough from arrival to departure.. very highly recommended.. we will. be back"
