"If you love nature and want a peaceful holiday away from the crowds, this is the place for you. The setting is tranquil, and you are not overlooked, so there is total privacy. Walking trails go through this tiny village and we tried a few. Stargazing at night is brilliant thanks to lack of light pollution. "

"Juan was an amazing host and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We had an fabulous 2 weeks and the location is quiet and remote. Ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet not so if you looking for hustle and bustle. The Finca is well equiped and very well furnished. The wood burning hot tub was a very nice touch. Definitely coming back here if we head back to Tenerife."

"The Finca Delicias are a small group of converted farm buildings located in a banana plantation near the beach and rock swimming pools of Alcala. The house was well presented, creatively furnished, and well equipped with generous amounts of space indoors and out. Incredible views of the ocean with the sun setting behind La Gomera each evening. The overall sense of tranquility and privacy was a welcome change from Costa Adeje."

"We had a really lovely stay at the finca. It is in a beautiful and peaceful location up in the hills, which is what we were looking for. It is not in the main tourist area which we appreciated and the local town was very nice. Its not the sunniest spot as is north facing and in the shadow of Mt Teide in the winter time, so sunshine hours were limited, but we were happy to drive to get to more sunny places in the day time. "Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, especially ‘The Retreat’ if you’re travelling as adults only. Our pool was generally very quiet and the service poolside was great - the tapas for lunch at Mirador was also a lovely addition, again with great staff and service. The little touches in our room for birthdays and our wedding anniversary was so nice, plus at our evening meals. Thank you again to all of the wonderful staff for making this such a memorable trip! "
