"Where to even begin? We loved everything about our stay. Stefania was wonderful, and responsive to our many questions before we even arrived. Upon arrival, it felt like a dream. The Villa is beautiful, private, and expansive. The property is huge, with lots of olive trees, fig trees, and places for the kids to play and explore. And not to mention the stunning pool, which overlooks the most incredible views of Cortona. We were pleased to find a ping pong table, and just absolutely loved the pool...

"The host was very welcoming upon arrival and gave us a great tour of the property along with some area history. Such a peaceful setting. Really enjoyed the patio upstairs off the bedroom. Great views of the terrain by day and fantastic views of the stars at night. Very close to the enchanting villages on hilltops nearby (Rigamagno and Scrofiano)."

"A very enjoyable stay in a lovely villa with great views over the Tuscan countryside. We were a large family & the villa was spacious enough for us all to relax & enjoy the peacefulness of the area. The villa was very well equipped and clean and Andrea made the checking in and out process really easy whilst the owner Nicola ensured the booking process was smooth & straightforward. "Nice house suitable for a family of 3-4. Two bed rooms, one with a double bed. Living room and well equipped kitchen. Very cozy property a kilometer or so from the town center. The host family lives in another house on the same property, and are very nice and hospitable, while not being intruding in any way. "We enjoyed a lovely week in Val di Chiana in this beautiful remote spot. The hosts helped us to find the property when we first got there. The house is great. There were some issues with the water supply but they responded to the problem very promptly."

The villa was ideal for our group and we had a wonderful pizza night with Alessio's mother, Catia! We also had a local chef, Linda, come in and teach us how to make local cuisine of pasta and raviloi!"

"Our group of 6 adults stayed at this beautiful property May 2024. If you're comfortable being in a Tuscany location that isn't walkable to restaurants or other services, stay here! You will need a car to visit some of the amazing towns in the vicinity. The host and her daughter provided excellent communication before, during and after our stay. "Absolutely superb hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. We had two delicious meals cooked by Linda and we left with her homemade limoncello and olive oil. Peaceful, beautiful grounds with wonderful walks straight from the house. Tennis club 5 min drive away, and a local train station that whisked us off to Florence for the day. Don't miss Snoopy's gelato in the local town. This holiday was a 5* experience."

"This is a stunning property with a stunning view that photos simply cannot do justice to. My only reservation was the very poor directions to find it and some difficulty getting a hot water issue sorted out . The garden is stunningly beautiful and lavender bushes a hive of activity for bees and gorgeous butterflies that did not desturb us in any way even when standing in their midst observing them closely. "Villa Gagnoni is a well restored authentic Tuscan farmhouse in a superb, tranquil "away from it all" natural setting. "Nous avons loué une maison avec piscine mais nous n'avons pu utiliser la piscine que deux jours, dimanche et lundi (impraticable mardi et mercredi, eau trouble et très chlorée jeudi et vendredi). A cause d'un orage le lundi soir 15 aout et parce que la piscine n'a pas de couverture, la terre du jardin a glissé dans la piscine et l'a rendue impraticable (verte et "tournée"). "This house is very nice. It is centrally located outside Siena and good location to explore all over Tuscany. It is off the beaten path so you’ll definitely need a rental car. Even just to get there. It is remote. Which is a plus but also has some drawbacks. We went in March so pool was closed. Too cold to swim. House is several levels. Kitchen and dining room are downstairs. We cooked several simple meals after going into town to grab groceries. Nearby town is nice. Not a lot of restaurant...
