"Horrible Experience – Never Again Our stay was a disaster from start to finish. The internet didn’t work at all. The first room we were given smelled strongly of human waste. The second room was no better—my sister got locked inside the bathroom, and staff had to kick down the door to free her. The food options were extremely limited, tasted terrible, and made my entire family sick with food poisoning. When we raised these issues, the owner offered us extra time at the property as compensation—absolutely not, given everything we went through. This place is unsafe, unsanitary, and completely unprofessional. I would not recommend it to anyone."

I was very happy to see Ms. Remy again. She is a beautiful & intellegent young woman and a great asset to the resort. I was very sad to leave but am hopeful to come back and stay again next year. "Excellent stay: rooms are clean and comfortable. A/C worked great, shower was awesome and surrounding views are beautiful. Great restaurants in town as well as small grocery store and ATM. Property manager was polite, courteous and helpful (he met us at the property). He had the hottub waiting for us nice and hot!"

"Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. Accommodations are basic but sufficient, if you are looking for an experience more like Dominica than a luxury hotel, Berkey's place is fine. Access to the property is straightforward and the location is ideal for short or all-day trips to the many local attractions. "

"We went in the off season and had the place to ourselves so it was pretty peaceful. But because of the off season there were several restaurants closed during our stay making different food choices limited. "
