The hotel location was great, right in the middle of town. The amenities were good. The workout room was nice. The manager reception once a week was a pleasant touch. The staff was mostly friendly. At times a bit too laid back with requests.

The staff is wonderful, very pleasant! The hotel needs a renovation especially the older sections. The rooms need to be cleaned better. Although there are elevators,( not always strategically located), they need to install ramps for those people who may not be able to navigate stairs! The food was good, but only a buffet for breakfast every morning was not ideal.

The property and hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, great atmosphere. Spa experience was superb. I took off one star for three reasons: breakfast buffett was extremely limited, there were only THREE lounge chairs by the pool for guests, and food was extremely overpriced for the value. Most staff was helpful and pleasant.

Ft Young is always my go to when visiting the island. That being said if you are in the older part of the hotel, getting your luggage around is a challenge as the elevator does not get you to all areas, HOWEVER there is always friendly staff to lend a hand. I was disappointed not to get a room in the new, deluxe part of the hotel. Not sure how I go about getting one. Overall I am pleased with my stay. I would say that service has improved over the years. Helpful, friendly staff

Clean room, helpful staff, great breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. However, please advise your staff to communicate what's going on at your hotel. For example, if there's a special event or you offer buffet lunch daily, the guest should not have to ask. That information should be given on arrival or booking. Lastly, guests need a microwave either in their rooms or the lobby area especially when the kitchen closes early (9pm). If I am hungry and have left offers in the refrigerator, I should be able to heat up my leftovers at midnight if I choose to and enjoy. Thank you for a great stay and I will be back again.
