About this property
Charming Invermay Townhouse with Courtyard
Welcome to Charm on Forster — a thoughtfully restored Federation townhouse in the heart of Invermay, just a gentle walk from cafés, local eats, UTAS Inveresk and Aurora Stadium.
Here, you’ll find a space that feels lived-in and welcoming — not staged. Warm timber floors, a sunlit courtyard and a well-equipped kitchen set the tone for slow mornings, relaxed dinners and lingering mugs of coffee.
This townhouse sleeps up to 9, with two generous bedrooms and a comfy sofa bed in the living area. Fresh linens, good Wi-Fi, and thoughtful touches throughout mean you can arrive and relax, whether you’re here for work, family time or a weekend unwind.
Quiet, easy living is at the heart of what we offer — the courtyard invites afternoon sun, the kitchen welcomes simple cooking, and the living room is perfect for easy evenings together. If you travel with pets, bring them along — there’s space for everyone.
Walkable to local favourites and gentle strolls into Launceston’s CBD, this spot makes it easy to explore at your pace. Then come home, pull up a chair in the courtyard and sink into the kind of calm only a slow getaway can deliver.
Please note: This is a two-storey Federation townhouse with internal stairs. All bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs.
We’ve included photos and a floor plan in the listing so you can see the layout clearly. If mobility is a concern, or stairs aren’t ideal for your group, please consider whether this setup will suit you before booking.
Please note that the property is rented on a per-guest basis. To receive an accurate quote for your stay, ensure you enter the correct number of guests in your search.
Other things to note Try Blue Social and Me Wah Restaurant- both close by and neither will disappoint. I recommend making a booking in advance. After a quick, honest and tasty takeaway? The iconic Bizy Bee will hit the spot (67-69 Invermay Rd, Invermay).

A lovely little place just outside of Launceston. Host was easy to contact and provided clear details for check-in and check-out. The house had everything we needed for our stay!
Host was accommodating and welcoming, responsive, patient and friendly. Great amenities , it had everything we needed . Spotlessly crystal clean, easy parking just outside the property. We joyed our stay pretty much.
Loved this property, great central location, never had trouble parking, kitchen was well equipped and very thoughtful with everything provided. We noticed they even had pet food bowls available for guests who may be travelling with pets! The house was accurately described and host was very easy to reach! Will definitely stay again.
Perfectly located to access all on offer in Launceston.Parking right out front so helpful.A tardis inside, opening to beautifully appointed rooms. Quality fittings and fixtures offer every convenience. Thoughtfully and sensitively restored to ensure guest comfort. Convivial host. Absolutely recommend.
Tracey was very welcoming and communicated with us clearly before, during and post tri. She allowed us to check in early and offered early bag drop. Check in details were incorrect, but a quick call with Tracey rectified the issue. Very clear and comfortable. Stairs were very steep and could be a problem if you have mobility issues and or younger children. Location was easy and perfect for our plans. We did arrive at same day as a footy match, which made it difficult to get a car park at first, but once the game finished we had no parking issues and were able to park at the front door. Would stay again. Thanks
Everything we needed was supplied and house was very clean and welcoming. We did not access National Park so can't rate. Host was exceptionally friendly and a great communicator
Tracey was very helpful with a change in our booking. Easy to enter property and it’s central to all things in Launy. The heaters were on for our arrival, so the periphery was toasty and warm!

Kitchen modern: Bathroom modern but there is a musty smell. The rest of the house did not feel quaint: it was just old and old-fashioned, especially the dining room.We had been warned that the stairs are steep. However, we had not been warned that although the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs. For a lady of a certain age (me) who needs to go several times during the night, going crabwise half asleep was rather confronting.
