"We had a great stay here. The home had a great amount of space for our group. We loved the private location, beautiful landscaping and made great use of the hot tub. It rained and rained while we were there so we never got to swim.2 things to note that weren't totally clear from the listing. This is one of 3 villas on the property which are all separate from one another but are in close proximity. This means you may hear other groups and they will all have access to the shared space (pool, grill and outdoor kitchen). This wasn't a problem but was a little surprising. The indoor kitchen is very small and not super usable. If you're planning on cooking meals, you may want something bigger/more usable. These things aside, the house is very beautiful and the location was super scenic and peaceful. I'd stay here again given the chance. We personally liked being a little more removed from the hustle and noise of the city. The hosts provided very good instructions and were great to work with. Thanks for a fantastic place to stay!"

"The perfect and premier ecolodge for birdwatching and photography in Costa Rica with unique opportunities to watch King Vultures and other rare birds. We saw 14 adult and 6 juvenile King Vultures at the feeding station, 5-20 meters away, together with about 40 Black Vultures. Fruit feeding stations attract dozens of birds including toucans, parrots and Great Curassows. About a dozen palm trees with breeding holes attract diverse range of birds to breed 5-15 meters in front of the lodge, including a pair of Central American Pygmy-Owl and two pairs of Black-crowned Tityra. Excellent delicious food prepared at the lodge’s restaurant."

"If you are looking for a private space to spread out and relax this is the place for you. The grounds are amazing and our teens enjoyed the pool, volleyball court and walks to the river. However, inside things are a bit outdated and if you are planning to use the kitchen there is no dish washer and limited kitchen supplies (no salt, pepper and basic condiments we have found at most VRBOs). Otherwise, we liked the location and the host was great and easy to work with."
