When we got to our room there was no toilet paper, tissues, or soap and the front desk staff said they'd send some up ASAP, but we still didn't have any after we went downstairs for dinner and drinks. After we called again, someone brought us toilet paper. The room also could have used a fan as it got pretty warm at night."

There was no milk for the cereal. No spoons either! Coffee pot had run out. Family sized kettle was supplying a dining room of about 20 people. Bread was in short supply. Basically under staffed. One staff member taking orders, serving food and clearing tables."

"My husband and I were traveling up the coast and heard Montrose was a cute town so we booked the George. The location, staff and food were outstanding. The breakfast was varied, hot and delicious. Our room was quite large and had a beautiful window seat and plenty of chairs so you can spend time in the room if you need a break On the downside, I was dissapointed in the hotel room based on the photos and ratings.
