The area was nasty. The breakfast was not so good and did not keep the food court stocked very well. The pool was not open and I am sure had not been open all year. It was nasty green. Would not stay at this motel again. When we booked we did so because of the grandkids that booked a room here also. Kids always want to swim and they were very disappointed also.

In town for 1 night with young daughter. Very hot so she was looking forward to using pool and why we booked this hotel since others nearby did not have pool. Pool was closed and appeared to have been for some time. Got a note AFTER check-in about using a facility a mile or so away, which we did not do, but would have been nice to know about pool ahead of time.

This is an old Hampton that needs to be updated. Toilet seat was broken and I almost fell off of the toilet. Staff was very nice.

Disappointed

The lobby was great but the pool was broken and there was no notification of it when we checked in. The wall in the bathroom was stapled up so it wouldn't fall, there were smudges on the mirrors when we checked in and the view? The broken roof over the entrance of the lobby, which had a bunch of trash in it. The only thing saving the stay was the breakfast and how nice the woman at the desk was the second day. Would not stay there again. Oh and also they are not pet friendly, they are dog or service animals friendly so their website has false advertisement.

I have been staying at this property since 2012....this recent stay is among the worst. Dirty floors, dirty elevators, deferred maintenance in the bathrooms and elsewhere....lots of items missing from the breakfast.

Staff was friendly, Brandon the manager, did not give a courtesy notification when they turned off the water in the middle of showering and preparing for a family funeral. Has to leave fences in toilet and when i returned the didn’t even come to freshen up the room after hours .

I did not like the room service that is every other day, consequently we had to request towels and conduct other things that the service staff does . My first time in a hotel where room service is every other day. We paid 230.00 a day for 8 days and it was far from worth it. We came to Laurinburgh do to an emergency and had to take what was available.

The sheets were wrinkled and not clean. The toilet wobbled back and forth, there was a large hand print on the mirror and the carpet had a penetrating musty smell that was hard to endure. Staff was very friendly but the hotel was not clean and the carpet needs to be urgently changed out.

Dirty is an understatement. My sink was clogged so I called the desk attendant. He pulled out so much gunk out of the sink while I watched. The whole room smelled. The bathroom had either dried urine or feces in and around the toilet. And the whole variety was moist. I was told because I booked through a third party that I couldn’t change my room or get a refund or anything. Never again!

The hotel itself was very nice and appeared clean and well maintained. That being said, we stayed in room 320 and as soon as we opened the door we were hit with a very strong odor of mildew which made one's eyes water. There were two dehumidifiers in the hall, so there's was obviously a water leak/problem. The odor was far worse in the bathroom, we kept the door closed to help minimize the fumes. Very disappointed that we were given a room with a problem and paid nearly $200 for the night. That being said, the furniture was nice and beds were comfy. The breakfast was also decent and the breakfast area was very clean. Glad we only spent one night on our way to Myrtle beach. The room we were given has a problem and we were very disappointed.
