"I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."

"Genuinely exceeded my expectations. The architecture is open and airy, which gives a sense of being outside, the deco is minimalist and room spacious, clean and with quality toiletries. The food both for breakfast and dinner was excellent and made of wholesome ingredients however the real strength of the hotel in my view is their staff who seemed to understand my needs and nothing was ever too much. Especially the lady in the moonlight bar who is so welcoming and when you are a solo traveller on a business trip that can make the whole difference.! thank you Dorint "

"Uniquely beautiful, staff are extremely polite and courteous. Breakfast buffet was phenomenal as was Restaurant and bar! Great view out patio, I spent hours setting there!"

"I chose this hotel due to its idyllic look & since I was traveling with 4 colleagues, they all booked here too. On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. The restaurant was closed, another reason I had chosen this hotel was because it had a restaurant, nobody told us it would be closed. Very poor. The service was friendly at breakfast & that’s my reason for ranking this at okay. The lady was lovely & made our start to each day a pleasant one ."

"Great hotel for a great price. Clean, modern, well equipped. Quadruple room was great for us and our two kids. Would love to have parking better marked as well as signs at the back entrance. We arrived after dark and it was a bit uncomfortable driving around back of the building, but once we found our way it was just fine. Would certainly stay here again!"
