We loved staying at Hotel Edelweiss. Fantastic view, comfortable rooms and amazing staff. The owner arranged a free cheese and wine tasting that was a lovely way to meet other guests and learn about Switzerland.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. View was great but that’s almost a given for the area. Short and easy walk from the train station, so everything was quick to get to. We had a great stay there!

It was a dream to stay here. The staff was so helpful and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was fabulous and the dinners were so good we never went anywhere else! I love that we could hear the cowbells in the distance. I hope to come back someday!

Hotel is in a great location, about 5-10 minute walk from the train station. Thomas (host) was terrific, always in a great mood, happy to recommend dozens of things to do within the Valley, for all different levels of activity. Even has drop off/same day laundry service. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was lovely and Tomas was especially helpful with advice about what to do in the area. Breakfast was delicious and the 24 hour coffee and cookies was a nice touch. The shower towels for drying could be longer and thicker but otherwise no complaints. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful Place to stay ! All the comforts of home and more ! The view is absolutely gorgeous . Easy access to trains. Great central location. The breakfast is wonderful too! Would recommend eating at the Deck ( would make reservations ) Da sing - great pizza and Italian food - Maria’s Steakhouse for a wonderful steak ! Wengen is beautiful ..Dinner is served every night on site but if you want to eat in town I recommend the places above !

We loved everything about our stay. The room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, so was dinner. Every evening there was a special on the menu. Looking forward to staying here again.

Excellent base to stay in the region. I have stayed in many places in Switzerland/Wengen, none as friendly. We wasted a couple of nights eating out when we should have had the food at the hotel which was superb. great hotel.

We had a small but functional room with a balcony with a beautiful Mountain View. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying our lunch and the views. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The free breakfast was a huge perk and delicious! The restaurant also provides dinner with a nice variety menu to chose from. There is a downhill walk to get there from the train station, so that means every time you go to town or train station you are walking back uphill. The staff did provide us with a taxi to the train station on our final day which we much appreciated. We had a wonderful 5 day stay at the Edleweiss. Take a picture of the valley from the backyard. It’s amazing!! Highly recommend this hotel!

We loved the balcony with a view of the mountains. Breakfast every morning was great. The staff were exceptional, making us feel welcome and earnestly wanting us to enjoy our stay. There was a small stash of hiking equipment we were able to borrow from since we couldn’t pack our own hiking poles. The impromptu complimentary wine and cheese tasting where we learned about the Swiss and met other guests from around the world was delightful. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was clean and the staff were excellent and friendly. They made you feel like you were family. The breakfast was fantastic and they make custom coffee or chocolate. Staff was also able to help with advice for things to see. They have a chef and you can have dinner at the hotel if desired. The hotel also does your laundry for a small fee. Very useful if you are traveling light. We loved our stay!
