Quietly located on a sunny hillside close to the centre of Laveno Mombello, this practical escape for 4 enjoys pretty views of the surrounding countryside and sections of the lake.

The bright and airy property benefits from large picture windows throughout and is one of two apartments within a semi-detached Villa. Situated a 15-minute walk from both the train station and ferry port the apartment enjoys plenty of outside space including; a private south-facing terrace and a shared garden equipped with a barbecue.

Inside, guests can relax in the open-plan living space, furnished with a dining table, Smart and SAT-TV with German channels. This area also incorporates the kitchen which is fitted with; a cooker hob, an oven, a Moka coffee machine, a fridge freezer and a breakfast bar for two.

French doors open out to the terrace which has a retractable awning. Furnished with a table and chairs this is the perfect place for alfresco dining or drinks at the end of the day.

Bedroom 2: The second bedroom is in the loft and accessed from the master bedroom via a spiral staircase. This room is furnished with two single beds and a wardrobe.

Location
The property is located a 15-minute walk from the Port in Laveno Mombello, where visitors will find ferries operating to Verbania, Stresa, Intra, and the Borromean Islands. The marina also offers water taxis and recreational boating activities together with a picturesque waterfront promenade lined with cafes, restaurants, shops and gelaterias.

The town is also famous for its cable car, the \"Funivie del Lago Maggiore,\" (a 7-minute walk) which takes visitors up to Mount Sasso del Ferro. From here guests can enjoy incredible views of Lake Maggiore and all the surrounding lakes: Lake Lugano, Lake Monate, Lake Comabbio and Lake Varese.

The beautiful lakeside monastery ‘Santra Caterina del Sasso’ is also worth visiting and is just a 10-minute drive away. Visitors seeking total relaxation can head to one of the nearby lakeside beaches including the enchanting Caldè beach with its typical restaurants and wine bars (a 15-minute drive), the pretty family-friendly beach of Reno (a 10-minute drive) or Spiaggia delle Cinque (a 5-minute drive).

Luino with its famous Wednesday market is a 25-minute drive along the lakeside road.

The nearest international airport is Milan Malpensa (MXP), approximately a 50-minute drive from the accommodation. Alternatively, the closest train station, ‘Laveno-Mombello Nord’ is a 15-minute walk.
