Another great stay in a fantastic King room at Hyatt Place in the Bloomfield/Shadyside neighborhood. The staff was amazingly friendly and made me feel welcome. The breakfast buffet, 24 hour front desk and convenience store made me feel like I was staying with people who cared about me. The hotel was also a 20 minute walk to the restaurants and shops in which I had interest. I definitely plan on visiting Pittsburgh again and will stay at the Hyatt Place. It is quickly becoming my favorite place...

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. My son really enjoyed the pool. It was easy to get to and around Pittsburgh. The free parking was definitely a plus.

The hotel is very clean, and the staff is very attentive. This is not a normal hotel, though. It's a former monastery, and has the charm of a former monastery. All the rooms seem to be one offs due to the fact that it was a former monastery. Don't expect a hotel chain, and you will have a wonderful stay.

We had a corner suite room which was beautiful and so clean. Well worth the extra money for the view. Staff was so accommodating and friendly. Thank You for a great Anniversary weekend.

A beautiful gem! This historic mansion turned boutique hotel is adorable. The original stained glass and carved wood grand staircase are breath taking. Keep in mind this is a 19th Century home, so the floors are creaky and the walls are thin, but there aren't that many rooms so it's not super busy. My only negative comment would be the ability for the room to cool down. It was a little stuffy and in our room the vent really only cooled the sitting area and not where our bed was located. We would...

This is a comfortable hotel with large rooms. The staff was helpful, and check in was smooth. There is not much to walk to in the area, but there is a very nice on site restaurant and bar. I'd stay here again!
