"Everything was just perfect more than excellent."

"So for a standard motel you have everything you need (and a great restaurant right next door), with free wifi, netflix, and everything you would want inside the room. The check in was easy, bed was comfy and the water was hot (mostly) But unfortunately that's where the good stuff ends. First off they told me I didnt need to book into the restaurant, so we missed out on a seat (which in hindsight, I should have asked if they were affiliated; they're not). Secondly, the room looks clean at first glance, but you beome aware fairly quickly that it's not. Not one door or wall has been wiped down, I found remnants of about four meals (withered vegetables on couch, a dried pea in the drawer next to the bible, noodles on the luggage bench etc) hair in the shower....you get the picture. Also, when you shower it fluctuates (I'm not sure if it's random or if other people's rooms affect it), so one minute youre burning the next youre freezing. I would stay here again if everything else was booked out but not for the price I paid, I would also bring disinfectant wipes and clean the place first. "

"I have stayed at budget hotels before so was not expecting luxury. But I dont expect food wrappers and broken food on the floor stuffed under the bed. Mould in the shower, slimy marks on the shower wall, the shower head falling out of the wall. Safety is a major issue, the fire escape door is left wide open 24/7. You need a key card to get into the front door but anyone can get in the back. We were only staying while my daughter had the Central West Football Championships, but ended up leaving a getting another motel after one sleep. I spoke with the manager and explained the issues. I have taken photos. I have requested a partial refund since we spent $440 on this motel. I was advised to email them which I have done but have had no response so no help from staff. DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL"

"Really enjoyed my stay at the Orana Motel in Dubbo, it was an easy, comfortable experience from start to finish. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which always makes a big difference. The rooms were clean, spacious and had everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable, and it was nice and quiet, so I had a great night’s sleep after a long day out. Location wise, it’s in a great spot. It’s only a short drive to places like Taronga Western Plains Zoo, Old Dubbo Gaol and the Botanic Gardens, so it made getting around really easy. Another highlight was having Ling Ling Thai nearby, a great option. Overall, it’s great value, well looked after, and just a really pleasant place to stay. I’d happily book here again next time I’m in Dubbo."
