"In the past I have rated two homes with 5 stars. These homes were well equipped, with 3 or 4 bedrooms, infinity pools, perched high on a cliff overlooking the ocean, at $200-$250 a night. I thought these homes offered exceptional value and deserved 5 stares. This apartment does not have these features and has some kitchen issues (see below) but at a rate of much less than $100 a night, it offers exceptional value deserving a 5 star rating. This apartment may be the best value on the island! My...

Hôtel Le Courbaril

8/10 Good

"Nice place , perfect location beach wise close to the ferry service that takes you to Fort de France . Ammenites nearby, beach restaurants, bakery, supermarkets ect ."

Le Paradis de l'Anse

10/10 Excellent

10/10 Excellent

"Our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The ferry to carry you into the city center is also next door. The beach area is nice with lots of chairs and covered umbrellas. The swimming area was cordoned off in the water itself and you can enter via steps or it was accessible via a small walkway along the side. Parking in the hotel was a bit difficult as it was almost always full but there were also spaces available on the street just outside. We had an amazing stay, definitely would recommend!"
