"The hotel was great value and parking for my Mercedes vito van in the centre of town a few minutes walk to all the restaurants and bars the room was very clean, great air con and breakfast was great with a good choice 10 out of 10."

"We used the hotel as a stop before heading further south. Conveniently located close to the autoroute and the centre of Le Mans. The staff were really friendly even with me trying to speak broken French. We didn’t eat dinner in the hotel but we did eat breakfast which was utterly superb. Lots of pastries, fresh fruit, cereal and cheese. The only very minor point would be the cleanliness of the room. It wasn’t disgusting by any stretch of the imagination but could have done with a bit more attention particularly in the toilet area. Lovely hotel and would stay again."

"Great hotel and we upgraded to a nice room. Location was excellent. Only small snags were that the wet room didn't drain away so the bathroom floor had puddles across for the whole time and also on check in the receptionist insisted on speaking English with a strong American accent which I just find such a shame when I am a fluent French speaker. Other staff however spoke French and were lovely and helpful. Would stay here again."

"The welcome was excellent. The room was small but totally functional. The location is great. Park at the Place de la République. There are renovation works ongoing at the hotel but they didn’t affect us. At the price point it is a great place to stay with excellent staff."

"Everything you come to expect when staying at Mercure. Clean, tidy, good facilities including a pool and gym. Friendly and very helpful staff. Easy parking. Good central location. Nothing negative to say at all. Would happily recommend and in fact already have to friends visiting Le Mans."
