"Nice property, clean and tidy - we enjoyed our stay, but if I was the host and lived next door I would be anxious to welcome my guest not make them wait for 20 minutes on arrival. I would learn a few words of welcome in my guests language and to explain workings of equipment. Further, there was a whirlpool spar advertised which we anticipated to be a jacuzzi type bath but there was not one at the property. The grounds are superbly maintained with plenty of different seating areas in order to make the most of the weather. "Owner was very helpful and nice. Property was spotless. However one of the main reasons for us booking this property was the availability of the swimming pool as advertised. The Owner advised us prior to arriving that it wasn't available and that a 'lido' was available in the nearest town without further explanation. Due to the timing this left us without an option to book somewhere else."

"Sue and Terry are the consummate hosts. Friendly and very helpful, but respectful of their guest’s privacy. They went the extra mile to help this cyclist locate a patch kit on a Sunday: they had one! The inner tube got repaired, but, alas, the tire had a sidewalk cut. I look forward to staying in their comfortable gite when I return to Pontivy or Mur-de-Bretagne."

"We had a lovely stay at this traditional old Stone property. The bedrooms were very comfortable but only one toilet upstairs meant going to the loo in the night wasn’t easy. Also the bathrooms only had hand held showers in the baths which wasn’t ideal. The housekeeper that met us was very friendly and helpful and explained everything very clearly. "It was a traditional french cottage and was a little basic and lighting was a bit poor at night. But as the weather was good we were outside a lot with the dog and the garden is great. Everything worked in the house but internet reception is quite poor unless you go to the garage.Had not realised we would be opposite other guests in a bigger place but that was no problem and made it interesting. "We enjoyed our stay, the location was prefect for easy journeys to the coast and further afield to explore. We had very warm weather and the house stayed cool at all times, thankfully. We really enjoyed Jurgon les Lac, and so did our dog who loved swimming in the lake."

"Our stay at Stuart & Gabrielle’s well equipped & lovely peaceful cottage was a real treat, warm & cozy, just like a cottage should be, specially with the wood stove glowing! The area was quiet but less than 10 miles from Dinan!! Stuart & Gabrielle we’re fantastic hosts, made us feel very welcome, went out their way to ensure we were ok!!! "The gite is set in a green, well kept hamlet with picnic tables outside each gite for you to enjoy breakfast in the sun. The gite was clean and well organised; one thing to add, the stairs are a little steep so worth checking that for all members of your guest group. The owners couldn’t have been nicer, all in all a great base to explore this part of France."
