"Breakfast is pretty good. Rooms and bedding are outdated and AC is lacking. While the sheets were clean, there were a few holes in them. It was fine overall but it's certainly time for them to start updating rooms and buying new bedding."

"The property itself was excellent, with a wonderful atmosphere and a great location near many restaurants. It was also very quiet in the evenings, and I would happily stay there again if I returned to Bologna. The only reason I gave the property four stars was an unusual—and somewhat concerning—feature in the bedroom. There is a full-length mirror through which we could clearly hear food preparation and conversations from the neighboring hotel area each morning. The sound was so loud that it seemed as though the people were in the room with us, so privacy is definitely something to keep in mind (i.e. they will hear anything going on in the bedroom). One day, I returned while the housekeeper was finishing, and I noticed that the mirror was slightly ajar. I then discovered that it was actually a concealed door connecting the apartment to the hotel area next door. The housekeeper met me on the other side and closed it, but the door locks only from the hotel side—not from inside the apartment. Although the apartment was otherwise immaculate and we had a very pleasant stay, knowing that someone could potentially enter the bedroom while we could not secure the door from our side felt unsettling and should be addressed by management."

"We paid for an upgrade, but the aircon wasn't working so it was super hot. The staff were really helpful and refunded the upgrade, provided a free breakfast and a fan. Can't fault them as it was out of their control."

"A lovely little hotel in the busy University district of Bologna Our Saturday night stay was very noisy as the students partied the night away right outside our bedroom window!! The next three nights were quiet and fine. Our room (106) had a very small shower which was fine for myself and husband, but I imagine people who are not as petite as us would struggle to even get into it!!! The breakfast staff couldn’t have been more helpful or charming - nothing was too much trouble! Would definitely stay here again if I was to visit the city…"
