"We stayed in the double room and booked for one night as we were in the area for a party in Blaisdon. The double room while a little on the small side was redone very well as was the property the amenities in the bathroom and the way the room was set up was very cute and quaint. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower and water pressure were wonderful. We wanted to book a taxi but didn’t have the number 41 and the staff informed us of a few places we could utilise as well as letting us know that Uber can be dodgy in that area. They were very helpful and getting us a cab as well as providing information about the location of where we were staying. Our taxi driver let us know that the crown Inn was just renovated and we could see the changes. It is very clean and beautifully maintained. The food looked and smell smells great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Well, they did offer continental breakfast. I felt the inn could do well, to offer a larger breakfast selection. If in this area I would highly recommend staying out the crown in as it was affordable and surpass my expectations"

"The accommodation has everything you need - well Equipped kitchen, good quality beds and bathroom fittings. Bath is huge and shower has good pressure. It was very clean. Basic cleaning products provided, toilet rolls and some toiletries which was good. Nice quiet spot with good dog walks and pub 20mins walk away. "

"Lovely stay, faultless check in.Great communication with host.Lovely cottage in a beautiful area, with good facilities. A handbook with instructions to work, hot tub and electric hob would have been helpful and some information on local area, shops, restaurants etc. Inside cottage was fresh and clean, bedding very, very cosy. Roll top bath a great addition.Unable to light log burner as logs too big and kindling not chopped up small enough/ no firelighters. Which was a little disappointing .Outdoor area with great large peaceful garden. Could do with a little tidy up with lots of cobwebs on patio doors. Overall a pleasant stay"

"What a hidden gem!! Beautiful location the cabin has everything you could possibly need! The views from the cabin was incredible! the chocolates and the fresh eggs from there chickens was a lovely touch ,great local walks and attractions a short drive away, I 100% recommend staying here you won’t be disappointed! We are will definitely be coming back! We got engaged in the Forest of Dean on our stay here so it will always hold a special place in our heart ❤️ Thank you so much!"
