We had a fantastic time at Slingshot Lodge, it was perfect for the 4 of us that stayed and would gladly stay there again. I will say that if you are going with small children maybe bring a baby gate for the staircase to the lower level :)
We had a great time. The cabin was great - location, the decor, very clean, the neighborhood pool, and the view. Only suggestion is to add more curtains.
House was amazing. Loved the wood fire place. Appreciated that there was wood available. Will definitely stay there again the next time we are in the Hills.
Great cabin! We enjoyed our stay immensely! The cabin was clean, and had all the essentials (Including plenty of towels for the hot tub!) for an enjoyable stay. It is conveniently located to the Lead/Deadwood and Terry Peak area. The cabin has beautiful views, is quiet and easy walking distance from the lodge (who doesn’t enjoy a good outdoor winter swim and a game of Pac-Man to take a trip down memory lane?). Thank you for the wonderful stay!
This property was clean and well taken care of, the kitchen had plenty of pots and pans, cookie sheets, bowls, and nice dishes. We enjoyed the location of the cabin it was close to Deadwood which had some good restaurants and casino's lots of fun shops downtown. Good proximity to trails and not far from the grocery store/gas station and ACE hardware.
The house was exactly what we were hoping for. Lots of space for two families and everyone had lots of room. The house was clean and the hot tub was perfect. Very close to Lead so we could run into town to get supplies. Would stay here again.
This property was easy to find and easy to check-in. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It actually had more beds than I remembered when I rented it. There were movies and games already there. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed walking around the loop. We will definitely be back for another weekend away.
Our family and friends have been going out to the hills for many years riding UTV’s. Very nice location, easy access to trails, fuel and a night out. The house had all the accommodations we were expecting. We had a great weekend getaway. Would stay in the Gilden Mtn area again.
The property was very nice and clean. Location was perfect for our plans. Would recommend this property to others. There were only two minor deficiencies. First was the community pool being dirty and small and second was one of the beds was in pretty poor condition and rather noisy. Other then that made for an excellent vacation.
We enjoyed our time in the cabin! Exactly as advertised. Clean, spacious, and close to activities. We had an issue with the TV not working the first day, but the property repairman was quick and had it fixed in no time. The kitchen was a good size, hot tub worked well, and the community pool was perfect. It was a very nice cabin to come home to after a day of excursions! two quick suggestions - Kleenex would be helpful to have in the cabin, and the first floor bedroom is so much more comfortable without the pillow top layer. We removed it during our stay and slept awesome! Thanks for hosting us!

It was nice, but the beds need to be updated. The beds do not have any support and are shot. There are not any closets and the basement rooms do not even have a dresser, so you live out of your suitcase. The bathrooms are very small with no storage. Also, there are no window coverings on the majority of the windows, so you do not have the privacy needed and neighbors can easily see in your cabin.

Nicely maintained property with plenty of room
We loved the cabin. It’s roomy but yet cozy. Our family of 9 stayed there very comfortably. It’s easy to access. You are close to major attractions. The notes placed throughout the house were very helpful. I did not give it a 5 star rating for a few reasons. The Entertainment lodge was terrible. The pool table was unusable & there wasn’t anything else to do there. I was disappointed there wasn’t cable upstairs on the main tv too. We were there for Thanksgiving, & the guys wanted to watch football while we cooked. They tried to watch the tv in the kitchen, but they were just in the way. Ended up having to go downstairs. I know there’s not much that can be done about this, but a definite design flaw would be lack of outlets in the main floor bedroom. There were only 2 outlets & they were already in use. In this day n age, there’s always a ton of things to be plugged it. Maybe an electrical strip would be helpful in there. Finally, besides the main floor bedroom, the other mattresses were not very comfortable. They were the old spring type mattresses, & you could definitely feel the springs. Glad I wasn’t sleeping on them or I may not have been able to get up! Honestly though, we would stay there again. Just a few tips for you to decide on.
The place was beautiful inside and out. So many places to sit around as a group and visit. Location was easy to find and get to places. Had the best time!

Kool Deadwood Nites weekend
There were several things about this property that were disappointing. Overall, we had a good time because it was a family weekend and it was fun. But the cabin itself was not very clean, front door as you walked in was not cleaned as well as the patio door. Bathroom rug was filthy. We had 10 people and the deck is only large enough for maybe 4. All the TVs in the house did not work and when the host was contacted, a solution was not provided. Some of the dishes we used were dirty. We've stayed at this subdivision before and were usually pleased with everything. So was disappointed this time.
Fun and adventure pretty much sums it up. We explored the hills and hiked all over. Fun with family
The cabin was clean and exactly what was advertised. We had fun in the 🔥 hot tub had a fire going in fire place had some wine. Beds were comfortable and was nice that they had all utensils. Bbq works great
Overall, we had a great time. My only complaint was that the memory foam on the bed on the main level was too thick for us. I'm much lighter than my partner and ended up trying to avoid falling into the hole his body created in the foam. After that, however, it w a very comfortable and met our needs. Easy to find, nice view!
AC/Heating was not operating properly and could not get repairman during our stay. Thermostat is upstairs and downstairs remained cold and upstairs hot. Filter had not been changed for considerable time.
it was the perfect size for all of us with a Total of 6 adults, 1 teen, 3 under 2 years. Plenty of space and great location to fun things near Lead and Deadwood. The address on the listing doesn’t lead you straight to the house so make sure you get the turn by turn directions.
A group of my friends and I stayed here and the cabin was perfect for a weekend get away in the woods! The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans for us to use as well as coffee for us to make in the morning, and the hot tub had the most perfect view! Highly recommend !
