Family trip
Great location and loved hot tub and pool at the clubhouse! Plenty of room for our party of 9.
Awesome cabin, needs closer attention to functionality and cleaning.
We loved the cabin layout and the hot tub. We spent a lot of time on the awesome porches and balconies. Very pretty views and lovely birds and deer every morning and evening. It was very serene with a cup of coffee.
The floor was not swept when we arrived, there was dirt and little pieces of leftover dried food and trash from the last tennants that we had to sweep up in the kitchen. The washing machine had quite a bit of mold in the inside door area
The biggest problem I would say is there are no window coverings where they are needed. The front door is tall and clear glass and you can see directly into the heart of the cabin at night.
There are no window coverings in the upstairs loft and the guests in that room had to put a sheet over the wndws. We also put a sheet over the front door.
The wndws on the side looked directly into the neighbors houses, that was also awkward, we would have liked the option to a little more privacy there as well.
The rooms didnt have much in the way of clothing storage, there were no drawers in them. The upstrs loft closet is mostly blcked by a bed and not very functional because of this. The main floor bdrm closet was fine, just shelves, no bar. Would have really loved at least a small dresser in each room. We had a longer stay and it was a little diffclt to manage clothes with no storage. We really would have liked 1 long mirror somwhre in the cabin as well. Would rent again, just needs closer attntn to cleaning and functionality.
Absolutely beautiful cabin, enjoyed hot tub and club house with pool. Kitchen was completely furnished with all the products you need for fixing meals and having gas grill on deck. Relaxing get away
Terrific spot for a large group, convenient to all there is in the Black Hills
Spacious, well maintained, and clean with sleeping accommodations as advertised. My teenage girls loved the loft room and my brother and his little girl took advantage of the room with bunks.
The private hot tub was a nice guilty pleasure when we didn't want to hit the Clubhouse. The Clubhouse has a very clean pool and 2 hot tubs to go with a pool table, retro video games and poker table.
The location is great, allowing you to go east to the Badlands, south to Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park, west to Devil's Tower or just up the road to Lead and Deadwood (or further to Sturgis). Would absolutely stay again!
We were very pleased with not only the cabin, but the surrounding area, personal hot tub, and community pool/clubhouse nearby. The cabin was very clean and exactly as pictured. We had everything we needed from towels to box/table fans, and all cooking needs (we cooked every day almost). All that was needed were our normal supplies brought (extra TP, food, necessities). We are a large family and have found we often need extra, so come prepared. The hose to fill the hot tub was located near the grill, and needed filled one time. The communication was easy, quick, and friendly! Just a text away and very responsive. The area was beautiful with deer walking right outside. There is a ton of pollen, so come prepared with those allergy meds! We traveled daily to see Mount Rushmore, nearby towns, horseback riding in The Stables at Palmer Gulch (highly recommend), Devil's Bath, and truly enjoyed Keystone. We had our old time photos taken at Professor Samuel's in town and not only were they the best, but also best pricing! Incredible experience all around, beautiful cabin and neighborhood. We will be back for sure!
