We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Had all the amenities we needed. Bedrooms were great. Great driveway for parking out trucks and trailers for our rzr riding trip with friends.
Sunset Ridge was an absolutely beautiful home. Great layout with bedrooms and bathrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed the loft area for family movie nights and also the hot tub during sunsets. The beds are comfortable, the house was clean, liked that we could park in the garage and it was nicely stocked. Wonderful property and we would definitely stay again.
Had issues with the hot tub and oven, but didn’t communicate it until our last day or I’m sure they would have tried to fix. They were very responsive did get the oven fixed on our last night. Stayed in other VRBO’s in this area that were tight quarters for our crew but this place had ample space for 6 adults and 8 kids. Great location for a ski vacation. Short drive to Terry Peak.
We liked that every couple had their own bathroom. That’s what we look for when selecting a property, number of bedrooms = number of bathrooms. The layout of the property was nice. Liked the seating downstairs & upstairs. Appreciate being able to use the garage to store our coolers inside & secure. The hot tub has some debris like dirt, leaves & pine needles and suggest the hot tub cover be replaced as its water logged & was very heavy for even 4 strong men to lift.
Overall, a great place to stay/location. Beautiful house. Needs a pizza pan and a pizza cutter!! But made it work. Bad parts someone before us turned the fridge up to 54 Degree WHY! Hot water heater didn't work either when got there. But manager had someone there the next day to fix! Definitely going back loved vacation.
We really enjoyed the house. The area is beautiful and you are not far from the clubhouse. There are two entertainment areas which we enjoyed with the grandkids. The hot tub was great.
This was a clean, beautifully decorated, new house with a beautiful view of the forest! Two families stayed comfortably here and we would definitely return. It was a short drive to Terry peak, around 5 miles and we had a wonderful stay!
2nd time staying at the cabin and was just as great as the first! One thing that would be nice is a hot tub cover lift to assist in opening and closing.
Very beautiful and comfy home. Love the decor and flooring is beautiful. Comfy beds. Nice to hang out with family to visit and play games. Couple suggestions for kitchen: missing strainer and spatula, bigger fry pan, crockpot and baking pan would be nice to have, coffee maker is very slow to brew, the glass measuring cup the measurement lines are worn off. For skiing/wintertime would be beneficial to have some bigger rugs for coming in the doors to try to avoid making a mess with snow sticking to boots when coming into house.
The house was very clean, but not very inviting. Maybe because It was new, there were no pictures on the walls, so it felt like a rental. We have stayed in many VRBO's in the Black Hills and I would say this fit our needs, but it wasn't one of our favorite homes. Very basic. No personal touch.
I booked this house because of its location on the map. I have been to this area before and wanted to stay at the end of the road right at the trailhead. On the listing for this house it specifically shows this house at the end of the road. When we got there and plugged in the address it was 5 blocks from where it is advertised on the website. Don't you think this is false advertising? I am sure lot of people that snowmobile would like to stay closer to the trailhead. So lying about the houses location would boost the rentals. I would recommend doing your homework on the address before booking this one. As I apparently didn't do my homework and was taken advantage of by the management of VRBO.
