"Cosy, very comfortable, and welcoming as a warm hugcountry cottage with everything you could possibly need."

"Property was spotless, beds comfortable, Wi-Fi very good, kitchen well equipped, though none of the odds and end like salt and pepper often found in a self catering place so take absolutely everything you need with you. Perfect wee village- pub excellent with a limited choice of pretty good pub grub and less than a 100yard stagger away! Lovely walks on the doorstep and beautiful scenery, and sheep."

"Looks exactly like in the pictures don't expect modern furniture. old-school tv with satellite channels and working internet. I like the access road to the lodge covered in leaves - magic. I have stayed for 7 days, overall cleanliness was ok ( don't look under the beds). Warm rooms as long as you switch heating. beautiful views, quiet place. Bring your own water to drink, I wouldn't drink tap water. Enjoy your stay."

With a large sitting room, spacious kitchen/diner, a separate dining room, and a second smaller sitting room with piano, there are plenty of options for getting together with your house guests. We were lucky with the weather, and ate breakfast on the patio and a barbecue in the garden. A memorable stay."

"Ideally located, cosy cottage. Good facilities, good heating (we stayed during a cold snap in December). Easy to find on the main road, although that main road may mean light sleepers may lose some sleep in the front bedroom. Would definitely return."

Also whilst the apartment has a full bathroom, the shower had little to no pressure whilst we were staying. Finally, there were some minor maintenance issues like the bathroom door was very stiff to open, these could be resolved very easily."
