"This cottage is beautiful, and is in such a peaceful setting…just what we needed after a month in the cities. It was actually bigger than the photos made it out to be. The views were amazing, beds comfortable, and the kitchen was great. It was easy access to Portree, and centrally located to go do all the things on Skye, especially on the Trotternish Peninsula. We wish we could have stayed here longer. The extremely short walk to the hill above provide breathtaking views (wear hiking boots though).The host was easy to communicate with and responsive. 5 stars all the way around. "

"This little cabin feels like it’s set in a storybook. The green hills, the beach, the sheep, and curious cows - totally worth a bit of a bus ride and walk. Loved it!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Tides Uig. The pictures do not capture how beautiful the view is from the home. We also loved the daily visits from the local sheep. The space was perfect for multigenerational group. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We also appreciated that basic supplies that were provided. The location was perfect with just a short drive to many locations on Skye, but away from the business of Portree. We had a wonderful dinner at the Uig Inn and two locations within walking distance for breakfast and lunch. We wished we had planned more time at Tides! "

An absolutely fabulous property with absolutely delicious and delectable food not to mention great drinks at the bar from Edward, who welcomed us with such warm hospitality, and even fed us at very late hour. But over and above what made it extremely special was running into Leon. Leon was such a wonderful, kind, caring and extremely thoughtful man. He truly made this a vacation memorable in more ways than one. Leon you truly are exceptional and you “ROCK” 😉 Also, a shout out to two other incredible staff members Connor and Jacob.
