House is in a great location! Perfect for exploring Leavenworth. House was clean and set up well. Since it is an older home, it is hard to keep a consistent temperature throughout the house (the only complaint!). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Great location and very easy check in instructions. The house has everything you need to prepare meals. There were baby items, high chair and pack and play - which was helpful. We loved the games and puzzles, and the easy walk to town. They even decorated the home with a Christmas tree and decor!! Fun! This is a great home.
Our two families spent a couple nights at Rockwell Retreat. It was the perfect location for summer fun. Close enough to walk to the river for a quick swim or into town for yummy food. All 8 of us slept comfortably.

This Cabin was extremely clean and well maintained. It was a short walk to the town of Leavenworth. I would highly recommend this place and have nothing negative to say about the property. The check in/check out was easy and effortless. When I visit again, I will be staying at this location again.
This was our second year staying in this home. We really like the location- it's super close to the main street, and an easy walk to a nearby playground. It's spacious, but old. The doors were creaky and the bathroom sink was a little wonky, but overall it was good for our purposes.
I celebrated my 34th birthday with my partner, mom, sister, brother in law, niece (10) and our french bulldogs. The house was great for multiple groups as you can easily close off the upstairs and the hallway with the downstairs bedrooms. The kitchen was pleasant to cook in, and the big dining room table worked great for dinners and playing games at. The real star of this house though was the location! We've made it an annual thing to come to leavenworth for my birthday in December and this was by far the most convenient location, just a block from the heart of downtown!
The Rockwell Retreat is quiet and cozy! Adjacent to downtown/Front St makes it super convenient to walk into everything you want to see in Leavenworth proper. (just a couple short blocks to shops, stores and restaurants). The house had everything we needed for a long weekend plus. Super clean, nicely appointed with a mix of modern and period correct furniture and comfy beds! If you have pets, there’s a well-built run/fire pit area out front. Huge common/living room area - it’s almost like two living rooms but they flow so well that everyone can spread out and still be together! Literally the only thing we had to do was bring food! Will definitely be coming back!!!

Loved to closeness to town. Very eclectic charming home. Needs updating and upstairs heat did not work and needs smoke detectors. Downstairs shower seemed to be leaking around the shower.
Website didn’t indicate if kid friendly. ie..high chair pack and play etc…
Overall…we had a great family time!! House and interiors (beds, towels, kitchen items) just needs some love!
We called it the Grandma house. It has it's interesting decor with plates and black and white pictures but you can tell it is well taken care of and remodeled in some areas. We went for a bday weekend and the location of this house is unreal. We arrived with clear instructions how to get in (amazing communication) and a huge horse and carriage stopped by to say hello. The upstairs full size beds are difficult when you have over 6 people staying there, but we made it work and again because of the location at a good price point you can overlook a couple things. The street parking for more than two cars is annoying but cost isn't anything crazy. Overall we were impressed with the house and Leavenworth is always beautiful anytime of year!
Overall, the Rockwell retreat was an inviting, comfortable, well appointed and beautiful place to stay.It was close to everything downtown, and had great access to the Riverfront. The nights were quiet and comfortable. We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit each evening. Are two. Big dogs, loved it as well!
Second time staying here for girls birthday weekend. The place is so roomy for 8 people. It is at the North end of the strip of the town and you can walk everywhere! Check out the pictures!
House had everything we needed. Lots of space for us and my dog. We loved sitting on the front porch and watching the world go by. EZ access to Steven's and Mission and walking distance to all food and beers.
very clean, well located ,craftsman home with some 1970's? updates
The property was incredibly clean, and very close to downtown Leavenworth and riverside park, so that was good. Parts of the home (as pictured on website) are from the original construction in the early part of the century and are beautiful, what is not shown on the website are the (I'm guessing 1970's) updates to the bathroom, kitchen and upper level..
This home was perfect for our family weekend getaway in Leavenworth. Immediately upon entering the house we felt at home. We arrived in late afternoon and found lamps on in the main part of the home, welcoming us. The 4 bedrooms were spaced out prefectly for privacy. We had plenty of towels, blankets, and most everything we needed in the kitchen to cook breakfast and dinner. The location was amazing! We were able to walk to everything. The home is also dog friendly, and our furry pups also felt right at home. We would love to visit again in the summer months!

Great area downtown. Privacy not so much. Upstairs Bathroom a little challenging. Well stocked kitchen. Backdoor lock didn't work so only could leave/enter through front. Smart TV streaming options only. All in all a good stay not great.
