"This Econolodge has an excellent location. For a very reasonable price, you are close to all the culture of Lenox and the rest of the Berkshires and you have Lake Laurel and October Mountain a short distance away. It's on a main road, so it's very easy to get where you're going, but traffic at night is minimal, so it's easy to get a peaceful rest. The basic amenities are very good: reliable wifi, tv with many cable channels, and a continental breakfast. It's not luxurious, but it's a great value. Spend your money on a fancy restaurant or Tanglewood tickets and just crash here!"

"Had a wonderful stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, especially the automatic pancake maker. Had a wonderful dinner from Mint restaurant. The room was very clean and had the most comfortable hotel bed ever. The shower was a gleaming white as if it had never been used. The swan soap dish was a lovely touch. The view of the lake and mountains is spectacular. Would definitely stay here again."
