Wonderful accommodation with a true lodge feel. Rustic, cabin-like experience with comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and a gorgeous sunrise over Mono Lake. Manager is very friendly and helpful. We booked a room for 4 with one bed and one futon and were surprised to have our own cabin with a full kitchen! We only booked for one night, but would definitely make a weekend out of it in the future given the proximity to Yosemite.
Location, views were nice. Didn’t realize checking was at 4pm we arrived at 2pm after a 7 hour drive called and asked if we could check in early and they said “No check in is at 4”. So we drove down to the lake and took a two hour nap in our car. Rooms were nice, no TV. Following day had no power from 5:30pm until we left at 6am.
Clean and comfortable no frills. My biggest disappointment was that there was no soap holder in the shower or place to put one’s shampoo and conditioner. I think it was a bit overpriced.
It is an old place but I liked the room. It had a nice seating area and very comfortable beds. It was clean and bathroom was spotless. Just across the road from Mono Lake
Great place to stay along the 395. Good sized cabin with a beautiful view of the sunrise over-looking mono lake. Owner is sweet and accommodating. Quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again.
Really beautiful location. Staff always helpfully recommends getting up at dawn to watch the sun rise over Mono Lake. It really is worth it -just beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the view is just spectacular.
Clean and quiet small rooms/cabins. I love that they provide plenty of good quality towels. Also, the beds were comfortable with firm mattresses and new/clean linens.
The price and location were great. The rooms are just across from Mono Lake which was perfect for our road trip. It was convenient to stay here because Yosemite NP. June lake plus other lakes and Mammoth lakes are just a short driving distance from here.

This ‘step back in time’ no-frills, cozy, roadside inn is clean and comfortable - and conveniently located to the EAST entrance of Yosemite National Park. Located directly across the road from Mono Lake - you will enjoy a gorgeous view and beautiful sunrise!
Also not too far north/west is the “Must-See” Old West Town of Bodie. A famous 1800’s Gold Mining Town with hundreds of original structures still intake! Road Trip Tip: keep plenty of drinks, water, snacks and a lunch in your vehicle as there are very limited stops for food/drink in either of these destinations.

This is a great little out-of-the-way location for a couple of nights stay. it has rustic cabins that are connected. The staff was extremely helpful, but this is not a five star motel. The biggest drawback was it was right next to the highway with a lot of road noise, however, the staff did provide ear plugs. The rooms had very comfortable beds and the rooms were clean. Space heaters for heat and portable AC unit for cooling. For short stays, I would be happy to stay there again.

We never seen any staff could get any ice in the morning no air-conditioning room was really clean, but that would never stay there again
We stayed in one of the cabin, it’s small but cozy. It looked deserted when we checked in but turned out the lodge was fully booked. The sunrise right outside the door is beautiful. The lodge is right next to the road so you can hear the trucks/car passing. We were so tired from hiking that once we fell asleep , we woke up the next day , just had trouble sleeping from the car noise, luckily the road is not a busy highway. Bathrooms are large and spacey. There is a fridge , microwave, coffee maker , hair dryer and flash light provided. Plenty of outlets are there too. There is no cell service so had to stop by a gas station for direction, print the direction before you head this way. WiFi available at the lodge.
This is a wonderful lodge sirectly across the street from Mono Lake. It is a great location to visit Yosemite and Mono Lake. A great place to disconnect, relax, read, and enjoy the AMAZING sunrises over the lake.
