Although check-in was officially at 4 PM, the staff kindly gave us our room keys around 2:15 PM which was really appreciated after a long drive. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with an amazing river view. "We stayed here from Friday to Monday while attending a nearby competition. Everything was walking distance (restaurants, park, grocery store, pharmacy, theatre). The host made sure we had everything we needed, the kitchen was fully stocked with snacks, breakfast items, coffee/tea and water. There was even a deck on the back that we could sit on and blankets to use if we got cold. The bedroom was very clean and cozy. There was a mini fridge fully stocked with water juice yogurt milk, etc."

"Hotel Kenney Rideau shines by its friendly and wonderfully helpful staff and it's incredible food menu! We felt very welcome, as if we had known them for years. Their evening and brunch menus are very generous and of incredible quality. Certain rooms are showing their age but they are a work in progress. We were nonetheless very comfortable and would go again."
