Basic good value hotel

Old building about 2 miles from Leeds centre but lots of shops, pubs, coffee bars, restaurants nearby. Otley Road is a nice area. For what i paid for a single economy room it was good value. No frills and a bit dated but clean. Large car park. The gentleman (owner i think) was very friendly and helpful on arrival. Overall it was fine for a one night solo stay - thanks

Not very clean and the breakfast was horrible, do not waste money to pay for the continental breakfast , you are better off to save money and get from outside

Lovely reception from Ola the Manager when we arrived, and he was good enough to help with our bags to the room. (not something often experienced these days!). There was a little welcome gift in the room for us which was very nice and room was well proportioned. Everywhere was clean and tidy, however the shower head support was loose on the wall, which was a little inconvenient. Having said that, there was plenty of hot water and the tea and coffee facilities were well stocked. We ate in the attached restaurant and I can honestly say, the Indian food was extremely good. A great value hotel and we left feeling well looked after. Will definitely stay here again.

Good value

So it's no premier inn etc, but for this price bracket you could do worse (and I have!). Everything else on this night was twice the price. Surprisingly comfortable, clean, perfectly fine. Happy to stay again - and I'm a bit fussy. Didn't feel like a was having to compromise on anything particularly. Would recommend and will book again. Wish I'd checked in earlier and had a curry there.

Noise

I can’t fault the service or cleanliness. However if you are looking for a quiet night, it’s difficult to get here due to being able to hear other guest room doors closing. Other guests talking in the hallway is very loud. The noise carries easily.

OK room, let down by service

Room was clean and comfortable but the stay was let down by breakfast only being served 8-9 which I didn't know when I paid. I enquired about the possibility of an earlier breakfast which was fairly declined, but then I was given a very blunt "no" when I asked for a refund on the payment for breakfast I had just made. I raised this in a message to the hotel but had no reply.

Overnight Stay

The hotel was in a good situation for my husband and I as we were attending a funeral not far away. The staff were very kind and helpful. We had a nice meal in the restaurant.
