"I was really disappointed with my recent stay. The hotel advertises amenities that simply weren’t available there was no sauna as expected, and the jacuzzi, which is clearly listed, wasn’t even functioning. It felt misleading and poorly managed. To make matters worse, I couldn’t sleep because music was blasting at 2am. I called reception and, to be fair, it was eventually sorted, but it completely disrupted the night. I was also told that the manager might offer some form of compensation in the morning. However, before check-out, I was then told there was nothing they could do, which was extremely frustrating given how poor the stay had been. Overall, it seems like Manor of Grove has seriously dropped its standards. What used to feel like a reliable and comfortable place now feels neglected and not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend it based on this experience. "

"The hotel is excellently located and easy to find with plenty of signposts whichever direction you’re arriving from. It was easy to find a parking space. Staff at reception were very friendly and efficient. The lobby area has a reasonably priced 24 hour bar with a decent selection. The food offering seemed quite limited to me, I’m sure if you are arriving after a long flight you’d be happy with the menu but I think if you’re staying here before going on holiday you might like to get food on the way or, as we did, pop into Bishop’s Stortford. Room was very comfortable with an excellent shower and good quality toiletries. Breakfast was good, the hot food was replaced regularly and there was a plentiful selection of other typical continental breakfast items."

"Was convenient for an overnight stay before catching an early flight. Would not stay again as my daughter and I both woke up with insect bites on our legs. Did not see anything but has put me off staying again."

"Clean and comfortable. Easy parking and close to IWM. Lift not working. No ice available. Only pizza available on the first night. Breakfast average. Road and rail noise. Very handy for The Red Lion pub which served delicious food."
