Two nights. Lovely place, just perfect for a couple. Small central courtyard and pool with rooms around. 8am pool open with families settled in for the day. Totally get it but not our jam. Great room, great location and good breakfast.

Staff excellent very friendly nothing was a problem. Rooms clean and fresh . Would have preferred downstairs due to being old and stairs hurt my knees. Overall very happy and will be back for sure!!

This was my second stay at the Mahata. On my first visit I took my daughter who said this was her favourite hotel that we had stayed in. On my second visit I took my mum who was just as impressed with the beautiful decor, outstanding staff and lovely hotel and facilities. The staff always go above and beyond to make sure it is a great experience. Offering a personalised service and take time to get to know you! Thank you to the staff for making my birthday a special day, I was surprised with a lovely cake. Big thank you to the great security on the door who kept us safe when entering and exiting the hotel. I would return in a heart beat!

Quaint smaller Property

Small quaint property right behind Magani hotel. rooms were lovely and clean. Whilst not a buffet breakfast the al la carte choice was excellent and more than enough with toast etc to help yourself too. Pool is small, but it is never full of people. Location is excellent.

What a little gem, only 28 rooms and very quite . Great staff, great bed and air-conditioning. Beautiful breakfast. Great money transfer directly across the road who we fully trusted. A small pool but it did the job . Only down side was my friend slipped on a step and fractured her ankle. Staff warned us about the step when we arrived . I remember saying to my friend they should paint it a different colour as it was the same colour as the surroundings tiles. Another guest had slipped 2 nights before, luckily not receiving an injury Staff were wonderful and very upset over my friend. Apart from that couldn't fault this place

The Mahata was amazing. Service was the best we have had in Bali. Location in the heart of Legian although its hidden down a side street away from all the hustle and bustle. Rooms and hotel new and extremely clean. Will definitely stay here next time in Bali. Thank you Mahata you were great .

Lovely ,small boutique hotel . Staff are fabulous,best service. Room very well appointed. Food and drinks excellent and great value. The pool is smallish and not many day beds due to space. The only problem I had were guests smoking around the pool and fumes blowing in my face ,not a fan as a non smoker but thats Bali

A cosy comfortable colonial brand new property, with a great and professional team ensuring your comfort and well being. Had an amazing stay and amazed at the attention to detail from Ari (Frontdesk), Manager Budi, Yuni and the Chef the restaurant, and all the friendly and engaging team looking after you. The room was as advertised. Bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping staff were not as intentive with the room cleaning as with the common areas of the hotel. The pool was awesome but not open long enough on warm evenings. The room require an outdoor table and chairs outside each room so you don't always have to be in the shared space for a quiet sit and enjoy your own space. I would stay again. 3.5/5 stars.

Bed was way too hard. Need another stand or chair to put second suit case on instead of floor. Never any milk in the fridge to have coffee in the morning, had to keep asking. No room also around the bathroom sink. Though it is a nice hotel, it also just needs more chairs around the pool. possibly umbrellas also so the sun is not directly on you. Apparently can get quite noisy bottom floor if people are sitting around the pool talking quite loud if you want to rest in your room.
