"I’m not sure what some of these other critiques of this hotel were about. The room was gorgeous and newly renovated. The room layout was fantastic. Large and well equipped with everything you would need. The view is unbelievable. The location was excellent The staff were very friendly. My only critique would be the breakfast was just average, but it was free with the room so who can complain."

"Unfortunately they had an internet outage the day we arrived and had accidentally given the room away that we booked. They found a solution that worked for us. The meals were excellent at the restaurant. The view was amazing. The rooms were OK. They have a hot tub but it’s very expensive to reserve (1400nok) and they make you reserve for two hours, so we did not see it get any use while we were there. I wish it had been more reasonable, we had a very physical day before our arrival and would have appreciated the ability to soak especially since the bathroom showers are small, and the water temperatures not consistent."

"This property is owned and run by the most hospitable couple. They made us feel most welcome and a big thank you is extended to them for their hospitality. The property is newly renovated, clean and the beds comfortable. A delicious breakfast is served of cheese omelettes, waffles and continental options. It is conveniently located next to the Hella – Vangsnes car ferry. Sights within walking distance is the Fridtjov the Bold statue, and driving distance Hopperstad Stave Church, and the town of Vik where you’ll find restaurants. We enjoyed riding the car ferry as pedestrian passengers across the fjord and back for the views which is free for pedestrian passengers."

"Sehr gut geeignet für Wanderer, etwas abgelegene Lage. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Ausstattung der Küche und Geschirr könnte etwas mehr sein. Wir waren zu zweit, das war super, bei Belegung mit 5 Personen sollte man sich gut kennen - es ist eigentlich nur 1 Schlafzimmer mit einem 3. Bett und ein Schlafsofa. Das ganze hat etwas Hüttencharme, also durchaus reizvoll.Die Kommunikation war sehr gut, schnelle Antworten."
