"A good sized appartment within a villa, lots of space. Rented out as a sole occupancy, so pool and facilities were just for us. Fantastic views over beach and village, which is 10-15 minutes walk depending if you are going down the hill or up. "First the POSITIVE: Beautiful home with an incredible view. Lots of space, wonderful furnishings. Local managers are responsive and helpful when we asked about pool temperature (too cold to use most days), beach towels (locked up and unavailable), bike condition (broken and un usable). Note the listing also indicates a clothes dryer is available - but is is not functional. The NEGATIVE: "Musty, stale smell" (from the basement presumably) so penetrates the house that the smell is always present....

"A beautiful villa which was very clean and had everything you would need. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had every utensil we needed. The closeness of Pingo Doce supermarket which was 10 minutes away meant we were never without fresh fish, meat , salad and wine. It was great to have the swimming pool to come back to after a day at the local beach in Foz Do Arelho, our favourite and surrounded by wonderful restaurants. "Myself and a group of friends enjoyed a lovely stay in Salir do Porto. The villa is relatively small, but is well laid out and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The location is a short distance from the small village and the nearest beach, but the pool is excellent. The local manager, Adilia, is friendly and very helpful The local area is beautiful and has many attractions in close proximity. A car is recommended to get the best from the villa. Overall, highly recommended."

"What a lovely home, with extraordinary views of the ocean. Our group of 4 couples was able to settle in easily, with all of the necessary comforts. During our stay, we enjoyed the nearby trail to the beach and the extensive walking/running trail along the main road. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked many meals there. The information provided about local places to go was extremely helpful. It was the perfect location for day trips to many towns in the area."

"We loved the house , modern, tastefully decorated. Fab garden and nice and quiet as is the resort. Local beach is 10 mins away by car and stunning. More like a surfing beach as waves are huge. Definitely recommend the house. The resort has a great golf course, some tennis and oaddle courts and a club house. A great week for my family"

"We travelled from the South of Spain in the summer to go somewhere cooler that had access to Golf, and plenty of space for our two dogs. Most days were 23C or thereabouts, and the property is on the edge of some great dog walking tracks. Pool was warm and clean, and property comfortable and everything worked well during our stay."
