Even a beach umbrella and basic medicines are provided, and these are only the most surprising tools. The house was totally clean. The pool is perfect and clean as well. Everything worked properly. And the view of the mountains was fabulous."

"The villa is located in a very quite area and surrender by olives tree fields. The garden is the best feature of the villa, beautiful and very well looked after. The swimming pool is clean. There is a dedicated person who is checking the free chlorine and cleaning the swimming pool daily. The house itself was cleaned during the stay and we had two changes of the towels. there are many restaurants and shops at walking distance."

"What a gem of a place! Super clean, renovated with the nicest staff. It is honestly underpriced. Great location to get to the nicest of beaches and most comfortable beds and pillows…and trust me, we are so picky about our beds. Beautiful pool and such nice breakfast options. The staff were incredibly kind and hardworking. Highly recommended!!!"

"Highly recommended - Villa Flora is an excellent villa in a great location. The views from the property are spectacular, and can be enjoyed from the pool area, terrace and balcony. The interior is modern, spacious and light, well equipped and with high quality furnishings etc.The local area is quiet and picturesque, but still has grocery shops and restaurants nearby. The villa is also well located for exploring the rest of the island, plus the town of Argostoli and several nice beaches are a short drive away.John and Claire are excellent, welcoming hosts, who know the island well and can make helpful recommendations and provide contacts etc.We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would not hesitate to stay at Villa Flora again if we return to Kefalonia. "Unbelievable stay. One of the most scenic places on our entire trip. Our room which was of good size and adequate amenities had a patio that overlooked the pool, cypress trees, and the ocean. It was like being at an Italian villa waking up to that view every morning. The pool was also an incredible addition to the stay. The staff was so nice and helpful with everything. The place has a couple quirks to be mindful of. Parking is tight and limited so be flexible if you're coming in late in the evening. Depending on where you're coming from, it is quite the ride to get here. We came in from Sami and although it was less than 20km, it was a long and harrowing ride. The first time at least. Be mindful of where you're planning to get to on the island from this location, but honestly after a day of doing it we loved our mountain drive and liked the remoteness of our place. Only downside would be the pool hours. It would b nice to have evening swims. I get the impression that there may be some extended stay guests so they do what they can to minimize noise which I can understand. Overall though a fantastic stay and I have already recommended it to several people that will be visiting Kefalonia in the future."
