"The hotel is very well situated in the city, meaning you can get to the docks, and railway station and other areas in under 15 minutes walking. The lady that was on breakfast service was lovely and even though we had a language barrier, she was very helpful and friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel."

"Not at all as advertised. It shows up as a 4 star hotel. Instead imagine an old short-term rental studio with a confusing check-in and zero assistance. No front desk, no person to help. We got in and there were 4 packets with 4 different room keys sitting on a desk. Which room was ours? No clue. There were no names on the packets. "Judith is amazing! She was so friendly, helpful, and always responsive, from right before we arrived until we left. The location is great, the room was very nice, comfortable, and clean. Judith stocked it with water and delicious snacks, which we so appreciated. I highly recommend Il Veliero to anyone going to Levanto/Cinque Terre!!"

"SAN Giorgio Rooms are fantastic! The front desk gentleman was very kind and spoke very good English. He took the time to draw out all the highlights to see close to the hotel. The largest aquarium in Europe is just across the plaza. The sheets on the bed are so crisp and the down comforter was so warm. Highly recommend this accommodation. It is very private and not like a regular hotel with front desk, restaurant etc."

The construction of the entire building is also built extremely poor where you can hear a pin drop from the room next door to the person below and above you even with 10 ft ceilings. It's really an old "inn." Plus there are a few flights of stairs. But it's location right in the center of everything walkable (but not loud and off the main street). (Not good for cars probably.)"

We preferred staying in Levanto because of the crowds in the Cinque Terre and because our awesome B&B provided free parking and free breakfast every day.
