"First off, the house is beautiful, huge, and immaculately clean and well maintained. Cleanest rental I've ever stayed in. However, it is also a conspicuously large, nice house in a rather old, working-class neighborhood. The house towers over its neighbors and sticks out like a sore thumb. It feels a bit uncomfortable. Zillow pins it at about 2,600 sqft, or right at double the size of every single house in the neighborhood. Which explains the main complaint I have. The host did not disclose until a couple days before checkin that there are severe restrictions on all outdoor use of the property. There is none between 10pm and 7am. Not the hot tub. Not the deck. Not the grill. There is a 500 fine for doing so. This put a huge hamper on our trip as we like to relax outside, particularly after the children have gone to bed. But with this house having been shoehorned into a neighborhood that really shouldn't support a short-term rental, I do understand the neighbors' frustrations with it. Regardless, this should be mentioned in the listing."

"Opening the front door, I was awed not only by the incredible view of Mt. Hood, but also by the size of the great room/ kitchen combo! It was perfect for our family gathering. We enjoyed the back patio especially for night star gazing! It’s a beautiful home in a beautiful location."

"Perfect A frame cabin nestled in the woods. Host was great with communication and we had everything we needed. You are in a dense forest area so be prepared for spiders. Cabin was clean had WiFi, cutlery, oven, tv and a heater. I would recommend staying here."
