"Wonderfully well thought out and set up! The home was very clean and well cared for. The kitchen is well stocked, and the pots and pans are actually nice—not the cheap stuff you often see in rentals. There are so many little details throughout the house that make you feel like the hosts really care: sound machines in the bedrooms, lots of outlets and charging ports, plenty of nice towels, and a generous supply of pods for both the dishwasher and washing machine. It’s all the little things that make you feel welcome and comfortable.The hot tub was wonderful and very clean, and the setting is quiet and peaceful.The upstairs does get fairly warm during the hottest part of the day, but there were several fans available, and we opened the windows to create a cross breeze, so it really wasn’t much of an issue for us.There are also two large-screen TVs in the house. Just as an FYI, there are no TVs in the bedrooms. That wasn’t an issue for us at all, but it may be a helpful detail for future guests to know.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really appreciated how much thought and care went into making the home comfortable and welcoming!"

"This get away felt cozy, yet the space was large. There was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. The well equipped kitchen had everything we needed to cook in. The hammocks were a favorite of the children. The deck was delightful to enjoy and the creek was soothing to listen to. Overall, our entire group enjoyed the stay and would consider revisiting this property in the future."

"Place is an awesome little spot! Outdoor space makes me jealous and wanting it at home. Perfect location from Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge. Town of sandy is a neat place with great food.Highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting a couple days or more to relax and enjoy nature!"

"Lovely little cabin close to all the best hiking in the area - Little Salmon River, Zig Zag, Timothy Lake. Cabin is well appointed for cooking, relaxing. Deck area is perfect for dining, relaxing. We really enjoyed sitting near the river. Only thing I would add is another reading light."
