We had a wonderful stay. We are so glad we chose this inn. The location is superb…a five-minute walk to the center of Lenox! It is a beautiful inn with a lot of charm, and the staff is warm and friendly. We loved our large room too! Definitely plan on staying here again when we come back to the area!
The innkeeper were phenomenal. We loved listening to one of the guests playing the piano and spending time in the library. The breakfast was very nice!

All was just as advertised and the family/staff was friendly and helpful.
Such a beautiful and historic property - like stepping into the Gilded Age! We stayed three nights and are most grateful we did. The owners/staff are top-notch and completely accomodating. We would happily return!
We love the Whistler’s Inn. Warm and engaging hosts. Full of amenities and ambience that are welcoming and harken back to another era. Convenient off street parking and walking distance to town and Kennedy Park with its many well marked wooded trails. Don’t hesitate to book a stay with them!
My only wish is that they would consider the use of unscented laundry and cleaning products and provide unscented personal toiletry products. Then again, I wish that would be the case in almost all of the places we stay.
Loved the accommodations and the location. Lisa was a warm, gracious host as well as her parents, Richard and Joan. Breakfast was great.

Lovely old in full of antiques. Comfortable room with wonderful, delicious, full breakfast. Inn is in a great area close to downtown Lenox and Tanglewood.
Great location, and the staff was extremely helpful with recommendations, breakfast, etc. the property was clean and nice, but a fair bit older than it appears online, fyi
Loved this wonderful BnB. So cozy and welcoming and fullbof friendly staff and guests. My only problem is that I was there only for a night. Next time ill stay longer to enjoy the place more
Love this place! Loved the fact that owners kept the 1800s feel throughout. Owners were on-site and joined us for breakfast. Great people. Lenox is good base for road cycling the nearby hills and valleys.

This bed and breakfast is a true gem, set in a beautifully preserved 1836 mansion. The rooms feature herringbone wood floors, diamond-pane windows, and soaring 11-inch ceilings, creating an atmosphere that feels both magical and timeless. With its charming, historic details and exceptionally friendly owners, staying here is like stepping into an enchanting, old-world retreat.
My daughter and I stayed here overnight while attending a play at Shakespeare Company. It was perfect for our visit. Location was great - could walk to downtown Lenox. Rooms were beautiful and historic. Grounds lovely. And the hosts were charming. I enjoyed hearing about the history of the house at breakfast - which was delicious. Highly recommend
A lovely old innwith a kind and thoughtful hostess. Excellent value in this area. Every room decorated with beautiful older objects. Well cared for, but dated. Beautiful gardens and excellent breakfast. I will return again.
It’s a beautiful, large, antique house. We stayed in probably the smallest room - petite chamber. I’d read reviews about the size so it wasn’t a surprise. It’s probably around the size of 8 x10 feet. Being from NYC, the smallness didn’t bother me. The breakfast was great! Hosts were great, overall a good experience.
I liked that it is an older style bed and breakfast place. You could say "classy" or "vintage". It reminded me of places where I would visit with family when I was a child.
I received a personal welcome and orientation to the property. Breakfast was nice and cooked options were available for me to choose. Another guest in the dining room at breakfast was also enjoying the visit and it was natural to strike up a conversation and get to know each other.
It was a more personal kind of stay than my typical hotel experience.

Gorgeous loved large home where you will feel at home. Lots of antiques, books. Grand piano. Hosts very welcoming. No air conditioning. Hot showers once hot water heater turned on. First night unfortunately cool shower. Dog friendly. Breakfast choice fine. So near to Lennox (easy walk downhill) and close to Tanglewood. Really comfortable beds. This is an old house built in 1867 and there are many ongoing minor repairs to do with walls. Highly recommend and looking forward to returning.

We really did love our stay here. The inn is very old and definitely in need of some maintenance and repairs, if you are looking for something modern and updated, this is not the place. If you are looking for old fashioned charm and hospitality, that is what you will find. The room we originally booked in the separate carriage house (Santa Fe) had no cell service/WiFi or heat the first night and the bed was creaky and uncomfortable, but we were moved to a different room in the main house for the rest of our stay which was very cozy. Breakfast was amazing, homemade with wonderful company around the dining room table. We spent a rainy day in the library with other guests sharing stories of life and travels. The owners were wonderful, Lisa even made us some fresh chocolate chip cookies for a late night snack. There is a beautiful walking trail in the old cemetery across the road, walking distance to shops and restaurants on Main Street. I would definitely stay in the main house again if I am ever back in the area.
