Ski-in Ski-out luxury boutique hotel. Great location, within a nice 10 minute walk from the center of the town (1850). Twice a day service, timed while you're out. The staff was outstanding, without exception. They were on top of their game all the way from unloading the car, to bringing up the luggage, to the restaurant staff, to the ski room. Very nice place to stay with an excellent bar and restaurant. Although burger place across the street was not very good. Staff speaks English and are professional and helpful. Hotel is very close to a gondola making for easy access to the slopes. One drawback was that our building did not have an elevator.

If you're thinking about staying here, BOOK IT NOW. My wife & I only stayed for one night, but we both wished we'd had more time. The property is BEAUTIFUL and the owners provide FIRST CLASS HOSPITALITY. Our stay included breakfast, and it was perhaps the most amazing breakfast I can remember - with the most delicious homemade jams (as well as many other delicious offerings)! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING US!

Amazing hotel and well worth the money in my opinion. Came in early December, so it wasn’t too crowded for the busy season yet. Excellent service and facility. Book it!

Could not have had a better time in Courchevel 1850. First time there for skiing. The staff were more helpful than I could have hoped for.

The rooms were clean, the towels soft, soap smells great. The hotel is less than a minute walk from the snow and 4 different lifts. The ski room has lockers for each room with 4 boot driers in each. The spa was very good after skiing, with heated pool, steam room and sauna. Staff is super friendly and helpful, quick to answer questions and give recommendations.

Altapura richly deserves its 5-star rating. The resort is spectacular, and all the amenities are at one's fingertips. The ski school or instructors meet you there, the rentals and ski departures are just at the door, the food, wines, and all amenities are first rate. We took our 9-year old granddaughter and by the end of the week she had made fast friends with 6 other children. We loved our time here. We came in summer, and the water park adjacent was pretty great, even though the wave pool was down for repairs on the day we went. We also walked 5 min to the escalators up to 1650 to eat. This was really nice not to use the car. All employees were great, but especially Ali for valet parking and Claire at reception helped us very much. My only small complaint is that I am very sensitive to scents and get headaches and the hotel makes liberal use of fragrances. I wish...
