We had a lovely stay. Our room was great and the staff, especially the afternoon reception clerk was wonderful. Not only did she acclimate us to the hotel, she helped carry our bags, and she helped plan the things we did while we were in the area. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was super. Highly recommend!

Try the foie gras at the restaurant-fabulous! Breakfasts were delicious as well.

The staff was friendly and engaging, and the property grounds are just lovely - sandstone patios and walks leading into views of the village cliffs.

Beautiful niche hotel in a quiet town in the lovely Perigord region. Centrally located with easy daytime excursions to the various places of interest. Hotel offers everything you need, parking, quiet, excellent restaurant, knowledgeable concierge and a spacious room and bath, even a large balcony. Only downside was that no restaurant in town would open for dinner before 7pm. But when they open, the food is fantastic.

A lovely family-run hotel that has a warm and joyful vibe. The owners, their little girl serving tables on a busy night, absolutely everyone made me feel welcomed and cared for. As a vegetarian, the very kind owners prepared dishes suitable to my diet. The swimming pool was clean, refreshing and set in a serene setting. Even the guests were friendly and courteous. This place was absolutely wonderful. Clean and comfortable, beautiful surroundings and our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Great breakfast, too. Close to many villages as well as Sarlat, without being in the thick of the city. Would definitely stay there again if I return.

Great place. Best dinner of our trip during the Tour de France. Pool was very nice. So was the grounds of the hotel. The staff was also great. Perhaps the best night of our trip traveling along with the Tour de France.

Our stay was excellent. Alexander met us when we drove in and showed us around the property. Our room was roomy and nicely furnished. The bathroom was large. Eveything looked quite new. The breakfast was out of this world. For us the location was excellent for our visit to the National Museum of Prehistory.

We were there one night and I wish we could have spent more time there. The room is private and conveniently located--plus, it's pretty, comfortable, and brand new. Breakfast was delicious. The host was welcoming, helpful, and very nice. We would stay there again.

We had such a wonderful stay at La Sarlamandre. Our hosts, Stéphy and Séb were so kind and welcoming from the start. The rooms are very clean and feel brand new. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cake. Everything was so perfect and their attention to detail made our stay so comfortable. We really felt at home. We were so sad to leave and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Merci beaucoup!
