3. Auberge Les 2 Moucherolles

Correncon-en-Vercors

"Great location, but it’s important to understand the concept of an “auberge,” where check-in is only possible when the owners are present. We tried to check in twice but were unsuccessful. We arrived at 7 p.m. and were told we could not have dinner, even though two tables were already occupied. We then had to wait 15 minutes to check in. When we departed, no one was available to collect the key or serve us a coffee. Quite disappointing is August High Season."

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel's location is excellent - right across from the train station and conveniently next to a car rental branch. While it is a basic hotel, it is clean and well-organized, making it perfect for our one-night stay in Grenoble. The room was clean and quiet, and the shower was very good."

10/10 Excellent

"It gives you a great value for your money. Staff was extremely helpful, we stayed for 4 days and housekeeping was great, the room was clean, well maintained and spacious. The hotel is located in front of the train station and an easy 15 minutes walk of downtown, has a lot of eating choices around too."

Residhome Grenoble Caserne de Bonne

8/10 Good

"2 night stay with teenage child. Hotel is situated in a good site, with local playpark for young children, local cafe (Paul) on doorstep and lovely external garden. Hotel is very keen to save electricity- lighting in communal areas was dim. On site Gym is very basic (3 machines plus limited freeweights). For the price it was very good - no complaints at all."
