"Absolutely lovely hotel in a stunningly restored Renaissance palazzo. We booked for one night and ended up staying three nights. Spotless clean, excellent service, and tasteful rooms in a scenic little town with few tourists. Ideal for day trips to Asti, Alba, Fossano, Cuneo, and other culturally relevant sites in the Piemonte. We fell in love with Mondovi, its excellent restaurants, and the calm genius loci. "Excellent place and made to feel very welcome there. Lovely host. True Italian hospitality, nothing was too much bother and we were looked after very well. Location is rural so you need a car there. It's shared bathroom but definitely don't let this put you off, there's only two rooms there and in the bathroom you have your own colour-coded towels and toiletries all laid out for you.
