This place is STUNNING! It is a 1600's monastery that was converted by a husband and wife team to into a bed and breakfast. They are the ones that run it and truly take of their guests out of personal pride for what they have created. It is located on quiet hillside surrounded by vineyards and farm land. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to visit Mondovi . Barbara, the hotel owner , will tell you the story of this historic building and their restoration efforts. Since Barbara and her husband are in book publishing business too, each room has its own theme from a book. The theme of my room is little prince. I was so impressed how the room was decorated . The breakfast was very delicious and fresh . Staff are extremely helpful and kind. I will definitely come back to this hotel...

Gorgeous historical villa, with amazing cliffside views of Alassio, phenomenal restaurant, and an amazing garden. The room that we stayed in was well appointed, had luxurious decorations and a lot of historical decor items. The infinity pool was gorgeous, and the drinks were phenomenal. The restaurant was also very good, and we had to try the five course prix fixe menu. The staff was amazing, and were very courteous, professional and helpful.
